Cuban Baseball Players Can Now Sign With US Mainstream Clubs

Cuban baseball players can now sign with major league baseball clubs in USA, following an agreement reached on December 19, 2018, between the governments of USA and Cuba, reported various media on December 20, 2018.

Hitherto the agreement, Cuban baseball players wishing to sign with US baseball clubs had to defect from their country. Cuba has some of the best baseball players in the world.
