Kanye West Alias Ye And Kim Kardashian In Uganda

Popular rapper Kanye West alias Ye and his wife reality TV show personality and beauty entrepreneur Kim Kardashian are in Uganda for a private visit there, reported East African media on October 13, 2018.

The Grammy-winning rapper, his wife, and their daughter North West are said to have landed in private jet at the country's Entebbe International Airport on October 12, 2018, before heading to a luxury five-star resort called Chobe Safari Lodge that overlooks the Nile River, in the iconic Murchison Falls National Park on the northwest of the country.

Earlier in October 2018, rapper Kanye West said he intends to record his forthcoming new album Yandhi in Africa, and the visit to Uganda seems to be partly about that. According to his website, a temporary music studio has already been set in the wild in Uganda, where recording of what will be the rapper's 9th album will take place.

At the same time, the government of Uganda is said to believe the visit by the US famous couple will have very positive implications for its tourism industry, specifically saying it is an endorsement of their tourism resources.
