Tanzania's Magufuli Calls For Abolition Of Birth Control As Speaker Bans Mini Dresses In Parliam

President John Magufuli of Tanzania alias The Bulldozer is now renown for his occasional controversial utterances. This time, he called for the abolition of birth control in Tanzania, reported several media sources on September 10, 2018.

According to the reports, Dr Magufuli rationalized his call by saying the East African nation with its population of 53 million needs more people. He continued people who opt for birth control were lazy guys reluctant to work hard in order to be able to support big families. He concluded by urging women to give up contraceptive methods now. When The Bulldozer speaks, people listen and do what he says. So one can imagine what is going on in Tanzania's closed doors at the moment!

The president is reported to have made the call in rally on September 9, 2018.

At the same time, the speaker of the country's parliament Mr Job Ndugai has banned female lawmakers from wearing mini dresses and jeans, as well as fake nails and eye lashes in parliament. The ban applies to female visitors to the parliament as well.
