Theresa May Lands In Cape Town At Start Of Trade Mission To Africa

British Prime Minister Theresa May arrived in Cape Town, South Africa, on August 28, 2018, at the start a three day trade mission to Africa South of the Sahara. The mission is seen by many political analysts as part of Britain's efforts for strengthening its global trade links and influence as it looks forward to officially exit the European Union in March 2019. Ms May is accompanied by a powerful business delegation consisting 29 business executives.

From South Africa she will proceed to Nigeria and then Kenya.
