Ugandan Government Drops Charges Against MP Bobi Wine


The government of Uganda succumbed to massive criticisms and calls from human rights activists worldwide, for the release of arrested member of parliament (MP) Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, by dropping the charges against him at a military court in Gulu on August 23, 2018, reported Ugandan media.

The independent MP who is also a popular musician, was facing charges of illegal possession of firearms.
