Kim Kardashian Urges Trump To Pardon Jailed Alice Marie Johnson

Kim Kardashian visited the White House on May 30, 2018, to talk about prison reform and sentencing with President Donald Trump, reported various media sources on May 31, 2018. Top on her agenda was to urge President Trump to pardon jailed 63 year old African American Alice Marie Johnson.

Ms Johnson was sentenced to life imprisonment without parole by a court in Memphis in 1997, for a first time drug trafficking offence. All appeal attempts by Ms Johnson have so far been rejected by the US Supreme Court.

Kim Kardashian thinks Ms Johnson deserves a second chance in life, and has vowed to do whatever it takes to have her pardoned. She strongly believes President Trump will help her attain her goal.
