World: "I am Going Home To Africa" Says Former Illinois Congressman Reynolds As He Castiga

Former Illinois Democratic Congressman Mel Reynolds is reported to have castigated the US judicial system as racist after a federal judge sentenced him on May 10, 2018. to six months in prison, for failing to file tax returns.

Talking to reporters after the conviction, Mr Reynolds emphasized there is a bias when it comes to sentencing African Americans. He continued he is done with America and will definitely be going home to Africa after serving the sentence. He particularly wondered how long African Americans had to put up with the nonsense, probably implying racism.

This is the third time the former African American congressman has been sent behind bars.
