15 Children Killed In Orphanage Fire In Haiti

At least 15 children were burnt to death on February 13, 2020, in an orphanage building fire on the suburb of Port-au-Prince in Haiti, reported some media on February 15, 2020. The orphanage is operated by a charity based in Pennsylvania, USA, and accommodated 66 children at the time of the deadly fire. The fire is suspected to have been caused by one or more of candles that were in use in the building because an electric generator that supplied electricity was out of order.
