Dominican Republic's music legend Johnny Ventura born Juan de Dios Ventura Soriano is dead. He died in the country’s city of Santiago de los Caballeros on July 28, 2021. He was 81.
Six Latin Grammy Awards holder and former mayor of capital Santo Domingo, Johnny Ventura was renowned for his music of meringue and salsa genres.
