At least 15 villagers mainly farmers have been massacred in Nigeria, reported some media on May 4, 2021. The massacre is said to have been carried out in a village in the country’s Benue State, by some armed assailants who also burned down houses in the village.
The massacre is reportedly a result of herder-farmer conflicts that now characterize Benue State and several other states in the West African nation.
