Ugandan Police Arrest 100 In Kampala As They Crack Down Protests


Ugandan police arrested more than 100 people in the capital Kampala on August 20, 2018, as they cracked down massive protests in the city, reported Ugandan media on August 21, 2018.

The protests were against alleged torture by security forces of opposition members of parliament (MPs) that include a very popular MP and musician Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine.
